There are no comparison games, as this category did not appear in 2002.

Voting was actually pretty close - Gulo Gulo & Russelbande were RIGHT behind Midnight Party.
This was the smallest group of voters for the Apples Project, as a number of people who don't play games with small kids abstained from voting.
I would have loved to see Walk the Dogs make the top list -- in my experience, it is a great game for parents to play with kids.
I was stunned/excited to see Viva Topo actually make the list, as it is:
a) expensive ("Selecta" is German for "made of gold")
b) not as commonly seen as the other games
By the same token, I was happy to see Monte Rolla & Giro Gallopo get nominations, as they are also Selecta games and even more rarely seen.
